1:1 Meditation & Sound Journey

What does this involve?

Let me start by saying you do not need any sort of meditation practice to get to a deep state of calm in this session. Many are finding it increasingly harder to focus when our attention feels split in so many directions. Not to mention the algorithm labyrinth that competes for our time whenever we open our devices (vortex anyone?). This session is to shut off the noise of the outside world and calm the chatter of our minds, bringing the focus back into the body, then to an expanded state of awareness.

We start this session off with a body scan and intention setting. Then you will be gently guided through a tailored meditation with a focus on bringing your nervous system back into balance, allowing your mind body and soul to come into alignment.

Sound is then used to drop into a deeper level of meditation where the body listens to calming sound frequencies and starts to tune itself to those frequencies. This is an automatic response by the body to align to the most coherent frequency in its environment - it essentially is auto-tuning itself back into its optimal state of balance, health and harmony.

These sessions are for you if:

  • you really resonate with sound and music

  • Reiki and energy work sounds a little ‘woo woo’ to you

  • your mind won’t stop racing

  • your life is back-to-back busy

  • you’re feeling out of balance

  • you just want to lie down and zen out for an hour

I truly believe that taking the time on any self-care modality is the highest honour you can offer yourself. The effects of which not only benefit your being, but cascade out to your family, friends, your demeanour in the workplace and beyond. I am here to facilitate the space for the innate intelligence of your being to bring you back to wholeness.

"When I arrived, I was feeling quite anxious as I had been rushing around all day. I really liked how Sarah checked in with me upfront so she could gauge where I was at. When we started, I found my brain jumping from one thought to another but as Sarah worked with me, my brain slowed and I was able to relax. I could feel warmth in various parts of my body during the session and went home feeling relaxed and much calmer then when I arrived. I have tried meditation on my own and found it very difficult. I felt very grateful that Sarah created a space for me where I was able to relax and even reach a meditative state.

For the second session, I had been dealing with periods of low mood and I was worried how I would get through the session. I appreciated Sarah telling me to let her know at any time if I needed a break. But in fact, it had the opposite effect. I found my brain slowed much more quickly compared to my first session and I reached a meditative state which is VERY hard for me to do.
